As in previous years, 48 Stunden Neukölln will feature a musical boat shuttle, the beloved Musikschiff! Following the theme „Message in a Bottle“, the Neukölln canal will once again become a live music venue for a series of exciting open air concerts. On deck of the Spreeprinzessin, six outstanding bands and artists from Berlin will play, representing the creative diversity of the Berlin music scene.

The Musikschiff turns the spotlight on innovative pop music from Berlin. On board we have Toni Kater, who has been active in the music scene for 20 years and charms us with her melancholic electro pop. The Australian musician Anna Morley lives in Neukölln and will suffuse the boat with electro acoustic sounds, amplified by violin and vibraphone. Lion Sphere and Osta Love transgress genre borders by diffusing Rock, Blues, Jazz, Pop and Classical Music with spherical elements. The Electro funk combo Blendend, who recently shot a music video for the song Neider in Neukölln, guarantees fun. The line-up is rounded out by the fantastic singer songwriter band Sex in Paris, Texas.

Apart from their own material, each artist will perform an exclusive cover version of the song “Message in a Bottle” by The Police, picking up the annual theme of 48 Stunden Neukölln, „S.O.S. - Art Saves The World“.

The boat casts off every full hour at the pier of Wildenbruchbrücke, 12045 Berlin-Neukölln. During each 45 minutes boat ride, one band or artist will play a live set. Each act will perform twice. Tickets for a boat ride can be purchased on site for 2 Euro, the concerts are free.
